Lightweight and hugely formulaic, the feud between the good ol’ Duke boys (aided by shapely cousin Daisy) and the nefarious Boss Hogg (unaided by dimwit Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane) was a massively popular highlight of early ’80s TV.
