Paranoia Agent Review

Paranoia Agent

For those who like their animation ‘out there’, Satoshi Kon’s Paranoia Agent delivers by the oddball bucketload.

An amalgam of ideas left over from Kon’s feature films, including the delirious Perfect Blue, this cult series follows the exploits of a mysterious baseball-bat-wielding assailant called Lil’ Slugger, with each episode told from the perspective of a different character – think Robert Altman directing Twin Peaks as anime. It sucks you in and messes with your mind.
