The Walking Dead S11

Despite becoming a pop cultural sensation and dominating ratings, even The Walking Dead must come to an end at some point. That end will happen next year, but before that, there's still Season 11 to come. And the first trailer for the show's last season debuted at Comic-Con@Home's panel for the series.

The universe of this show will continue with spin-off series (Carol and Daryl forever!) and the promised Rick Grimes-centric TV movies, but 2022 will indeed see the story that kicked it all off coming to an end. And, in reality, should probably have been ending earlier, were it not for a worldwide pandemic.

Returning cast for the new season include Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. An Angela Kang, who took over as showrunner a couple of seasons ago, will be seeing the show to it to its end. The first past of Season 11, consisting of eight episodes, starts in the US on 22 August.

And while the main parent show will be stumbling off into the undead sunset, spin-off prequel series Fear The Walking Dead will still be around, and had its own look during the Con. Find two new clips within the panel below. Fear The Walking Dead returns on 17 October.

Finally, we have limited series The Walking Dead: The World Beyond, which returns for a second and apparently final season on 3 October. Check out that show's panel below too.
