Succession

The 2022 Emmy Awards will be handed out in a couple of months and we now know the shows that will be up for trophies, including recurring heavy hitters such as Succession, Ted Lasso and Euphoria.

Succession led the way with 25 nominations (and network HBO also scored the most nominations of the day), while Ted Lasso and The White Lotus nipped at its heels with 20 apiece.

Broadcast network shows again didn't make much of a showing – even the final season of much-loved drama This Is Us didn't come away with any nominations, but Abbott Elementary proved to be a success on that front.

Rhea Seehorn, who plays Kim Wexler on Better Call Saul finally got a much-deserved and long overdue nomination, finally recognising her excellent work on the series.

Zendaya had a good morning also, becoming the youngest two-time acting nominee and the youngest producer nominee for her work on Euphoria. But while Selena Gomez didn't make the list for her performance Only Murders in the Building, she's among the producers on the show, which is up for Comedy Series.

A select list of nominees is below. For the complete list, head to the official Emmys site.
