Netflix Marvel Shows

Well, we saw this coming, didn’t we? After news broke that the Netflix Marvel shows – including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher and team-up series The Defenders – were about to leave the streaming platform, fans wondered where they could possibly be heading. And after a certain one of those characters popped up in a certain record-breaking, web-slinging film recently, Disney+ seemed like the obvious destination.

Disney+ have officially confirmed today that is the case – though only for viewers in Canada so far (we're awaiting an update on the situation in the UK). They've given a date too – the series will all be available to watch there on Wednesday 16 March. So, for all those halfway through a rewatch and worried about finishing before the shows leave Netflix, there’s no need to panic! Though you may have to shell out for an extra streaming subscription, if you don’t pay for Disney+ already.

The move, along with the appearances of (okay, we’re going to say it, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye spoilers ahead) Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) in the MCU recently, is sure to keep the rumour mill spinning about the possibility of these characters – with their existing casting – being woven into further Marvel movies and TV shows. And, could we even get further standalone series? Is Daredevil Season 4 on the horizon? Only time will tell…
