Futurama: Season 5

Resurrected following its cancellation, it's a largely happy return for Bender et al. As The Simpsons' meaner twin, Futurama's fifth season embraces its misanthropy with a vengeance, starting with a bang before misfiring pot-shots at easy targets (Dan Brown is well into self-parody by now). Still, a stream of nerdy randomness makes up for the wobbles, and at its best, it's as sharp as the day it left us.
