30 Rock: Season 4

One of the sharpest TV shows, Tina Fey’s 30 Rock seemed invincible. But Season 4 saw it slump due to uninvolving storylines and, in Julianne Moore as an old flame of Jack’s (Alec Baldwin) with the worst Boston accent ever, a character so grating she could be the show’s Jar Jar Binks. Thankfully, it gets back on track with a series of belting episodes and successful cameos, including Matt Damon and Michael Sheen as a guy called Wesley Snipes.
