There may still be concerns about making any sort of film that references the Manson murders, but Quentin Tarantino is ploughing on with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. He's now added Scoot McNairy to the cast.

Hollywood is described as a Pulp Fiction-style blend of stories from Los Angeles in the late 1960s. The film follows various characters, but focuses on former Western TV series star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), men trying to find their way in a Hollywood neither man recognises as the Manson cult stalks and strikes fear into people. Dalton's connection with the Manson murders is his neighbour, Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie).

McNairy will play a cowboy named Business Bob Gilbert, who appears in one of the current Western shows. He joins a cast that also includes Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Emile Hirsch, Clifton Collins Jr, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen. The film will be out on 9 August next year.
