Currently riding high thanks to her successful return as Laurie Strode in the new Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis is leaping onto another much-anticipated project. She's joined the cast of Rian Johnson's Knives Out.

The writer/director has been keeping most of the details on this one close to his chest, though we do know that Daniel Craig will play a detective looking to solve a murder mystery, and that the film itself blends modern-day crime with a classic whodunnit feel.

Curtis will be part of an impressive ensemble that also includes Chris Evans, Lakeith Stanfield, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, and Ana de Armas, with Johnson looking to have the cameras cranking next month.

Next up for Curtis is spoof comedy Senior Entourage, which has yet to announce a UK release. Knives Out, meanwhile, should be in cinemas next year.
