Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Attraction Will Feature A Cantina

Star Wars Galaxy Oga's Cantina

While Disney has revealed a few details of the expansive Star Wars lands – known as Galaxy's Edge coming to its various Stateside parks, one particular element has only just been unveiled. The attractions will boast a hive of scum and villainy... Well, actually just a bar called Oga's Cantina.

And for only the second time in at least the California Disneyland's history, the cantina will be a place you can buy alcohol (the first is the secretive Club 33 in the New Orleans quarter). You'll be able to purchase drinks in a variety of cups and bottles, but do try to avoid getting into lightsaber fights.

One other key element will – literally – be music to droids and fans of droids: not only will mechanical friends be welcome, but the DJ for the place will be RX-24, the old droid pilot that once helmed the Star Tours ride. Expect Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes' manager to be on the communications channel immediately.

The attractions will finally open to the public next summer at Disneyland and in late autumn at Florida's Disney World.
