Coming up for air after months of working on the X-Men 2 script, David Hayter is promising fans that there'll be a third film in the series. Speaking to Comics Continuum, Hayter explains that '[X-Men 2] is definitely bigger. What I'm telling people is that it's the second part of a much bigger, three-part movie.' Presumably it's more than his life is worth to reveal anything of the plot, but the scriptwriter would say that, 'We are closing in on the final draft. I had a great meeting last week with the studio (20th Century Fox), Bryan and Marvel, and everybody seems pretty happy. I can't say much about it story-wise, but it's going to be really cool.'
