Will Smith libel action

Men in Black and ID4 star Will Smith is being sued for libel by his first record promoter. Dana Goodman, who hails from Philadelphia, has taken exception to comments Smith made in a magazine interview concerning a Philadelphia record promoter's attempts to ensnare him and his partner DJ Jazzy Jeff in a record deal by placing a gun on the dashboard of a car. Smith also said the promoter fired shots at the duo every time he laid eyes on them. Goodman says the claims are "very disturbing".
