Warner Brothers is out to stop a wedding.

The company has grabbed an untitled comedy script for Phil Traill, the writer-director of Channel 4’s Spoons and the upcoming Opal Dream.

The plot follows two sons who try to disrupt their widowed father’s wedding when they discover that their step-mother-to-be is not who she claims to be. She’s an alien from the planet… All right, probably not.

The script has been through the hands of several scribes already: Mary Elder wrote the original treatment, while Dan Schneider (Big Fat Liar), Hadley Davis (Ice Princess) and Roger Kumble (director of Just Friends) have all also taken passes at beating it into shape.
