Warner Bros. has bought the rights to Seth Greenland’s forthcoming novel, Shining City, about a spineless dad who unwittingly inherits a prostitution ring.

We’re not sure if it’s a comedy or a drama, though. We prefer comedy, and given Greenland’s track record – he wrote the excellent darkly comic novel, The Bones – we’re on the right track.

Donald De Fine will produce for Warner Bros., and that’s really all the news there is on this movie at the moment. Can we make it into a fourth paragraph, readers?

No. No, we can’t.
