This isn't really movie news, but it's just so darned fun that we wanted to tell you about it. Everybody knows that Pixar like to include characters from within their wider universe in all their films as little easter eggs for fans and the filmmakers themselves. Nemo in Boo's bedroom in Monsters Inc. Luxo Jr in Toy Story. That kind of thing.
But animation expert Jim Hill has now collected together all the references in all Pixar movies, up to and including an appearance by Wall-E, over at Jim Hill Media, complete with screen grabs. Click here to see it, you'll be glad you did. We were aware of a bunch of these, but had no idea there were so many. Love the tin toy hiding underneath the bed in Lifted. God, we wish we'd thought of this first.
