Versace wraps

Filmed at a cost of less than $5m, the indie feature on Gianni Versace has finished filming in Miami.It was written and directed by Menahem Golan, and stars Franco Nero as Versace, Steven Bauer as FBI agent John Jacoby and newcomer Shane Purdue as the apparent killer, Andrew Cunanan. It's not the only prospective flic on the A-Lists favourite seamster - Warners have optioned a book by Vanity Fair's Maureen Orth. Expect the budget to fractionally exceed $5m
