Proof that there are still comic books out there waiting to be discovered by source material-hungry studios, Universal has snatched up the rights to little-known title Talent, from Boom Studios.
The four-issue miniseries, which was written by regular Buddy novelist Christopher Golden and Tom Sniegoski, focuses on a 34-year-old college professor who survives a plane crash. If that’s not extraordinary enough, he discovers that he’s taking on the abilities of his fellow passengers who perished in the crash. But his newfound talents aren’t always a blessing.
