Last gracing the big screen in Very Bad Things, Jeanne Tripplehorn is now set to take on the role of a fashion model in the forthcoming low-budget thriller from writer/director John Duigan - Paranoia. On side are a host of Brit actors including Iain Glen (Silent Scream), Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting) and Kevin Whately (The English Patient). Costing a paltry $4 million, shooting kicks off May 2 on - would you believe it - the Isle of Man, before moving on to London. The flick centres itself on a young fashion model, who, exhausted from her hectic schedules, decides to get away for a country weekend with her boyfriend in tow. The weekend, however, ends up a trifle more stressful than wanted when the boyfriend's pals ignite a weekend of escalating paranoia. Among Duigan's credits: Flirting, Sirens and The Journey of August King, with his most recent directing project being MGM's Molly, starring Elisabeth Shue and slated for an August release. For those eager to catch a glimpse of Tripplehorn - whose CV includes Sliding Doors, Office Killer and The Firm - before Paranoia sets in, she'll next be seen opposite Hugh Grant in Castle Rock's Mickey Blue Eyes, set for an August 13 release.
