Classic clashing cartoon duo Tom & Jerry have hit the big screen before, though that 1992 effort was marred by having them controversially talking all the way through. A new live-action/CG version looks to have them back in pantomime mode, but fans might still have issues... Here's the synopsis: "One of the most beloved rivalries in history is reignited when Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of “the wedding of the century,” forcing the event’s desperate planner (Chloe Grace Moretz) to hire Tom to get rid of him. The ensuing cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, the wedding and possibly the hotel itself. But soon, an even bigger problem arises: a diabolically ambitious staffer conspiring against all three of them..."

Tim Story's in the director's chair this time, with a script by Kevin Costello.

Whether you're ready to embrace the idea of Tom and Jerry as CG creations interacting with the live-action likes of Michael Peña, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost and Ken Jeong or think the concept is just too weird, you'll get your chance to see it in cinemas next year.
