Tom Holland in Cherry

While we knew that Tom Holland's Marvel future seemed in doubt a while ago with the split between Disney and Sony over Spider-Man, we didn't expect him to turn to a life of crime. Everyone can relax, though, as this is simply the first picture of Cherry, which reunites Holland with his Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo.

Looking to tackle something different (read: smaller and more intimate) than their massive double MCU entries, this one is based on Nico Walker's book, which parallels the true life story of the author, a former Army medic who returned from Iraq with extreme un-diagnosed PTSD and fell into opioid addiction and began robbing banks. Walker was caught in 2011 and is scheduled to be released in 2020.

Jessica Goldberg wrote the adaptation, with the brothers producing via their AGBO studio and the cameras already rolling on a film that also stars Bill Skarsgard, Jack Reynor, Michael Gandolfini, Ciara Bravo and Anna Colwell. It'll be out next year, but doesn't have a solid date yet.
