It's a shame that the real thing didn't have the same unstoppable power of its silver screen counterpart has because even the soundtrack from Titanic has broken sales records. After 16 weeks at the top of the Billboard charts the disk proved to be the US top seller of 1998 weighing in at a mighty 9.3 million sales. Which of course helped it become the biggest selling soundtrack of all time with more than 25 million global sales. There can't be many bods left on the planet who haven't been haunted by Celine Dion's highly bankable ballad My Heart Will Go On or James Horner's score.
