Normally to be found trying to survive a zombie-infested world on the small screen as a mainstay of The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus will be looking to survive an assassin-infested world as he joins the cast of John Wick spin-off Ballerina.
According to Deadline, Reedus' character is unknown (like other recent recruit Catalina Sandino Moreno), but he'll be sharing the screen with star Ana de Armas and a host of John Wick veterans.
Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick are all officially aboard the film, with Keanu Reeves reportedly showing up for a cameo as Wick himself.
With Len Wiseman in the director's chair and a script from Shay Hatten, Ballerina will see de Armas as a young woman whose family is slain and who plots revenge.
"We’re huge fans of Norman, and we’re confident that the fans will be just as excited as we are that he’s joining the Wick universe," says producer Erica Lee. "He’ll make an incredible addition to Ballerina."
Reedus, of course, recently finished his time on the main Walking Dead show, which has finally shuffled off screen after launching in 2010. The actor is not completely done with that world, though, as he'll be back as Daryl Dixon for a spin-off show.
