Suffering testosterone-based mood swings

In yet more Steve Carell news today, the funny man has signed on to star in Hi-T, a new comedy for Warners. Wow, with these two films announced in one day he is really spoiling us.

The Hi-T of the title sadly does not refer to scones with cream and jam and those little mini cakes. No, it's about high testosterone levels: Carell's character suffers an injury which leaves his requiring regular injections of testosterone, causing him to suffer extreme mood swings as a result. Hilarity will, no doubt, ensue.

There's no director attached yet, but the script was written by Kim Barker, who's also responsible for Robin Williams comedy** Licence To Wed** a couple of years back, and the upcoming All About Steve starring Sandra Bullock as an eccentric crossword puzzler who falls for a photographer (Bradley Cooper) and trails him across the country. Let's hope that Barker's improved since the distinctly so-so Licence To Wed.
