Star Wars creator George Lucas has told Vanity Fair that he won't be continuing with the saga after the third prequel. Fans have always hoped for a nine film conclusion of the Star Wars saga, but this will bring the grand total to six. He also said that he won't allow anyone else to take over the reins. Anyone with a heartbeat and a passing interest in film will be aware that the first of the prequel trilogy is scheduled for a UK release on July 16th. The untitled prequels II and III are promised for 2002 and 2005.
