There's no need to mention the title as we're sure you've already been stuffed full of news about the big sci-fi release for this Summer - but it won't stop us bringing you more news anyway - and this time it's for charity. The premiere is set to take place May 16 at benefit screenings held in a dozen of US cities, with each event will being a fund-raiser for a children's charity where all costs will be underwritten by corporate sponsors. The Los Angeles-based premiere will benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which is hoping to raise in excess of $700,000 from the event, though no theatre has yet been selected for the screening. Those that want a seat for the LA screening and after-show party can expect to reduce their bank accounts by at least $500 for a single ticket. The more adventurous and indeed, wealthy, might like to opt for the packages priced at $5,000, $10,000 and $25,000. Some of the opening night tickets will be given to children infected with HIV/AIDS. As yet, it's not known which, if any premiere, director George Lucas and his cast will attend.
