The plot - as with many a J.J. Abrams' production - remains carefully under wraps, but we do know that **Into Darkness **will see Earth and Starfleet under attack and our heroes propelled into an epic chess game of life and death. Love will be challenged. Friendships will be torn apart. And sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew. You can bet the odds will be against him and the situation will be grim.
