Stallone Counter-sued

Even his lawsuits have sequels

A couple of weeks after Sylvester Stallone filed a $20 million lawsuit against producers for billing him as the star of a film in which he appears for only six minutes, the producers have retaliated, countersuing the actor for corruption and conspiracy. Alan and Diane Mehrez, producers for The Good Life, claim that Stallone and his brother Frank would not honour contracts to work on the film and used fraud, extortion and death threats to terminate the movie and the couple's production company. Frank Stallone, who it is alleged told another actor if he messed with Sly "he will destroy you," says the $50 million countersuit "has absolutely no merit."
