Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Adds Deadpool’s Karan Soni

Though it's already stuffed with Spider-people, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse isn't above adding one more. In this case, it's Pavitr Prabhakar, also known as Spider-Man India, to be voiced by Deadpool actor Karan Soni.

According to One Take News, Soni's Prabhakar will be a significant character in the sequel to 2018's Into The Spider-Verse. Introduced into the comics in 2005, In the comics, he's a kid from Mumbai, India who is given the powers of a spider by an ancient yogi.

In the new movie, Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) reunites with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), and is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.

But when the heroes clash on how to handle a powerful new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

Oscar Isaac, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Issa Rae, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, Jason Schwartzman and Daniel Kaluuya are also in the cast for the film, due out on 2 June.
