Has Soderbergh Secretly Shot A New Film?

According to one of the actors in the play he's been directing in Australia, Steven Soderbergh has used the production's cast to shoot a quick 'n' cheap, largely improvised movie that could stand as a third release for him in 2010.

Rhys Muldoon, one of the Aussie actors in Tot Mom, which the director worked on late last year with Cate Blanchett's Sydney Theatre Company, has spoken to the Sydney Morning Herald about working on the movie, though he hasn't offered any further details about the untitled pic.

Soderbergh never seems satisfied with the lazy, one-film-a-year attitude of some of his peers: in 2009, he released** The Girlfriend Experience** and The Informant!, plus finally let Che see the projectionist's light outside of festivals and the US.

Now it looks like he really wants to aim for three films made or released in one year - this likely improvised new project, thriller **Knock Out **and Liberace, starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.
