First Images Of Simon Pegg, Nick Frost And The Cast In Truth Seekers

We learned nearly a year ago that Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, via their Stolen Picture production company, were planning to make a return to TV with horror comedy series Truth Seekers. The first images of the show are online and can be found further down the page.

Written by Pegg, Frost, Nat Saunders and James Serafinowicz, and directed by Criminal's Jim Field Smith, Truth Seekers is about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see.

However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race.

Frost is more up front in the show (though Pegg is giving off strong Nigel Havers vibes with that wig in the first gallery image), while the cast also includes Malcolm McDowell, Emma D’Arcy and Samson Kayo. There's no date for the show to hit Amazon's streaming channel yet, but we're ready to watch it whenever.
