Oh, Luke Wilson. We like you. You're charming, you're undeniably talented, sometimes you're even great. But why must you eternally play the dopey boyfriend in dreary romantic comedies? It's so beneath you.
Take Blonde Ambition,the trailer for which is here (but don't go there, you've done nothing to deserve it). Jessica Simpson seems fine in it and she understands that she needs to show her cleavage a lot, in order to distract people from the fact that she's appearing in a remake of Working Girl (oh, say it's not a remake all you want, Blonde Ambition makers - it is) that's clearly not nearly as good.
But we got bored just watching the trailer. We zoned out for a little while around the time Willie Nelson turned up and made us want cry, then came to around the time Andy Dick said something about boobs and realised that we wished this was as good as Dukes of Hazzard. And we never wanted to think that about anything.
This is kinda like The Devil Wears Prada, except replace everything that was good in that movie with falling into/over/out of things repeatedly with rapidly decreasing amounts of funny. You deserve better Luke. Adrien Grenier got Devil Wears Prada and you're way better than him. Believe in yourself and you can make anything happen.
