Rings Premieres In London

Perhaps the most important piece of information given away in the latest LOTR press release is the confirmation that the film's world premiere will take place in London. While most fans had hoped, given the author's provenance and the large number of British actors amongst the cast, that The Fellowship of the Ring would receive its premiere in the UK, it hasn't been confirmed - until now. The film's official site has launched a competition to win tickets to 'the star-studded, world premiere of The Fellowship of the Ring on December 10th.' A spokesperson for Entertainment - the film's UK distributor - couldn't confirm this morning as to whether a venue had been set, but we'll bring you more information as we get it.
