Christopher Reeve, who's been paralysed for three years following a horse riding accident, is set to resume his acting career by starring in a remake of the Hitchcock classic, Rear Window. The original starred James Stewart and Grace Kelly, with Stewart playing a man who's confined to a wheelchair with a broken leg, and who relieves his boredom by spying on his neighbours. Eventually he becomes convinced he's witnessed a murder. The script has been re-written for Reeve, to make the main character paralysed. Since his accident, Reeve has written a memoir, Still Me, directed a tv movie and campaigned extensively to raise awareness for spinal cord injuries.
