The Monty Python stars have launched an action in the High Court to win back control of their film The Life of Brian. The Python team are suing Paragon, the film's distributor, for cutting the film without their permission and for licensing the film at a rate they say was not businesslike and not including an obligation that the film not be cut. They are also suing Channel 4 for showing the film under license while aware that the Pythons were not happy with the deal.
