After starring in the less-than-inspired One Fine Day and A Thousand Acres, Michelle Pfeiffer looks to be onto a sure-fire winner again after signing up to star opposite Harrison Ford in the Robert Zemeckis-directed supernatural thriller What Lies Beneath. The DreamWorks pic will mark the first time Ford and Pfeiffer have worked together and although details about the ghost tale are so far thin on the ground, according to Daily Variety, Ford will play a professor who gets caught up in the occult. Production is expected to begin in mid to late 1999. Pfeiffer, who has finished work on the heart-wrenching Deep End of the Ocean and Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, will next play wife to Bruce Willis in Rob Reiner's marital drama The Story of Us, which starts shooting in December.
