Paul Rudd and Jason Segel, both of Knocked Up fame, are set to star in I Love You, Man, a comedy being set up at Dreamworks.

The film, to be directed by John Hamburg (Along Came Polly), will see Rudd as a man all set to get married, but lacking in one crucial item: a Best Man. So he makes it his mission to find a new best friend who can hold a ring for him, organise some aging strippers and tie him naked to a street lamp.

We keep wanting to write the name Judd Apatow somewhere in this story, since the new crown prince of comedy seems to be involved with most of the projects this pair currently put their names to. But he's nowhere to be seen. Frankly, it's weirding us out and we'd like a hug.
