Paramount has bought the rights to the novel The Year Of Yes: A Memoir by Maria Dahvana Headley. They’re hoping to hire a writer to start adapting the novel within a month.
The story concerns a New York woman who grew bored of her dating life and began to wonder whether she was being hyper-critical of the men she dated. She therefore decided to say yes to every man who asked her out for a year, and chronicled the comical dates which resulted in the memoir.
