Even as their last team-up, Wrath Of Man finally makes its long-delayed way on to Prime Video in the UK, the trailer for director Guy Ritchie and star Jason Statham's next, Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre lands online. And from the looks of this, it's definitely Ritchie and Statham back in more comedic mode for an action thriller that also looks to have some fun with the genre. Check out the footage...

Statham here is playing the superbly monikered super spy Orson Fortune, who must track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant, having fun with accents again after Ritchie's The Gentlemen). Reluctantly teamed with some of the world’s best operatives (Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone), Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett) to help them on their globe-trotting undercover mission to save the world.

There are jokes, explosions and Grant's character noting that Orson Fortune is a "sexy name". So yes... the tone here is quite clear. Plus Aubrey Plaza makes everything better.

Operation Fortune will be out on 21 January.
