Robbie Williams' charge to the top of the entertainment ladder shows no sign of running out of steam as he's decided after a number of highly theatrical pop videos to turn his attention to the big screen. The former 'gobby one' from Take That is currently taking the US by storm on his latest musical tour aided by some highly extrovert appearances on the David Letterman show. Williams has signed to play in Film Four's There's Only One Jimmy Grimble, a rights of passage tale based around a loser kid from Manchester who's life is transformed by the gift of an allegedly magical pair of football boots. Rookie director John Hay will make his debut.
