Oliver Stone: “It’s a social crisis.”

It's our mate Oliver at the 25th Brussels International Film Festival. What's his problem? He's trying to get his new film about Martin Luther King Jr. underway. Sadly, " It's very tough to get contemporary social subjects done in our country." He reckons he's had the script for four years but it still struggling to get the project going. "There is a predetermined demographic ethic that exists, and the increasing power of the media makes it impossible to get something that contradicts their social values through to the public. It puts a false morality on the U.S. culture." Broadly then, everyone loves a happy ending...
