Although he's supposed to be directing Batman next, British director Christopher Nolan is clearly making sure he keeps busy with the announcement today that he'll direct The Prestige. Adapted from the Christopher Priest's novel by Nolan's brother Jonathan (who was also responsible for the story behind Memento), The Prestige is set in the late 19th Century and focuses on the rivalry between two professional magicians. According to Variety, one of the roles is already being set aside for Jude Law.
