Nicolas Cage’s Kid Is Just Super…man

Yes, we know we’ve already covered this in our main news section, but truths as strange as this don’t come along everyday. Renowned comic-book fan Nicolas Cage celebrated the birth of his second son in New York City on Monday – his first with his third wife Alice Kim Cage. Naturally this is a lovely occurrence, but we were stopped dead in our cheering tracks when we found out the kid’s name: Kal-El Coppola Cage. That’s Kal-El as in Man of Steel, swirling cape, Superman fame. An interesting choice then, but it’s worth bearing in mind that baby Kal-El will be sharing a world with celebrity sprogs like Apple Martin, Banjo Griffiths, Blue Angel Evans and our current favourite, Elijah Bob Patricus Guggi Q (why, Bono, WHY?)
