The parade of people joining the next Mission: Impossible film – many of them announced by writer/director Christopher McQuarrie via his social media channels – continues. Nicholas Hoult is the latest addition to the movie.

McQuarrie is actually making the next two M:I movies, but there's no clarification as to whether Hoult will be in both of them or just the next one. What exactly he'll be doing in the story also remains to be seen, but current chatter is that he'll be playing a villain. McQuarrie's caption asking if he wants to raise a little hell is also telling.

So far, the new movie(s) will see Tom Cruise back as Ethan Hunt, alongside Rebecca Ferguson's Isla Faust and (because they'd surely be included) Simon Pegg's Benji and Ving Rhames' Luther. New faces this time so far are Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2's Pom Klementieff, Joker's Shea Whigham, and Agent Carter herself, Hayley Atwell.

The two movies will shoot back to back with the plan to release the first in July next year and the second in August 2022.
