Following hot on the heels of last week's thrilling trailer, the Apple site has debuted a new one-sheet for J.J. Abrams' sci-fi spectacular Super 8. It's mean, moody and, in its own way, kinda magnificent, even though we're not wholly sure which way up it goes.
Super 8 is an Abrams movie so of course the poster's unlikely to tell us *everything *we need to know, but the key details are there: Spielberg's involvement as producer - and, judging by the trailer, key influence - the kids, the camera and the what-the-heck-is-it? that we last saw laying waste to small-town America.
It may not be quite as iconic as Cloverfield's headless Liberty, but it captures a sense of innocence mingled with foreboding that seems to lie at the heart of the movie. Could we be any more excited? Well, not for a Monday.
If you're in Blighty ignore the poster's release date because Super 8 is out in the UK on August 19. If you're in the US you can see it from June 10. You lucky, lucky people.
