You know what's cool? Giant friendly robots who can do your bidding when you need them. That's why we're so pleased with this new image from Big Hero 6 in the latest issue of Empire magazine, showing Baymax from the San Fransokyo-set Marvel / Disney Animation team-up.
Baymax is the creation of Hiro Hamada (Ryan Potter), who forms the titular superhero team when a masked baddie threatens his home town. "We don't have to guess whether action movie or superhero fans are going to like the movie, because we are those fans," laughs director Chris Williams (Bolt) in the latest issue, which is an encouraging thought.
The film is co-directed by Don Hall (Winnie The Pooh), with a voice cast that includes Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr, Genesis Rodriguez, Alan Tudyk, TJ Miller, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell and Scott Adsit as the voice of Baymax itself.
Big Hero 6 hits the UK on January 30, 2015, after a US bow on November 7. You can read more about that and all the big films this winter in the new issue of Emp****ire, on sale tomorrow.
