If you thought this summer was all about grizzled action stars punching each others' lights out, well, you wouldn't be too far wrong. The next cab/van off the rank contains The Loser****s, a posse of roguish US special ops types whose levels of 'bittenness' is more or less permanently set to 'hard'. Which is just as well, considering the number of people who want to kill them. (It's a lot.)
Betrayed and left for dead in the Bolivian jungle by their shady handler Max (Jason Patric), these clips show the team fathoming out how best to avenge themselves without ending up dead. And, hello, here's Zoe Saldana's enigmatic Aisha to help them out.
The smart-mouthed patter - "If I'd been lying to you, I wouldn't have used the words 'suicide mission'" - and a cast that includes Idris Elba (stolid badass type, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (the group's sharp-suited leader) and Chris Evans (IT help-desk with guns), not to mention the ever-excellent Saldana, should see The Losers give those other action crews a run for their hard-earned.
