The first poster for the film previously suffixed as In The Serpent's Eye, Pearl of the Cobra, To Hell and Back and now more sensibly known as John Rambo, has released its first poster. Click the image below to make yourself smaller and the poster seem bigger.

We really like this. It looks a little bit like Scarface, if Scarface went a bit feral, stopped going to the barber and put on 140lb of muscle. It denotes both that John Rambo is back (because that's, y'know, his back) and that this should be a back to basics, rough and tumble, proper Rambo flick (because of the knife and the unrelenting rain).

There's just one odd thing: that title. Erm, doesn't that say Rambo? Wasn't that out in 1982? OK, that film was called First Blood, but a lot of people think of it as Rambo. Does this mean that the film still hasn't decided what it's called or that the poster was produced before they decided to settle on John Rambo? It's most likely the latter, since title was only confirmed by Stallone last week.

What say you to the one sheet, folks?
