Mulder and Scully Snog

After years of faffing around, Mulder and Scully are finally getting round to a good face-suck in a forthcoming episode of the X-Files. Rather than the steamy clinch you'd expect after all these years of waiting though, their first screen kiss is, according to The Sun, a bit on the tame side - a mere ten seconds, apparently. And the close encounter does not signal the start of a passionate affair: bosses have insisted that as soon as their one-off bout of tonsil tennis is over, it's straight back to business for the alien-hunters . The episode - screened on Sunday in the States, but not due in the UK until next year - sees Mulder get to grips with Scully on board the Queen Mary liner when they travel back in time to the 1940s. As soon as they return to the present, however, their moment of passion is forgotten and it's back to what an X-Files source calls "their unresolved sexual tension". The pair almost kissed in the X-Files: Fight The Future movie - although Mulder was disguised as an alien at the time, which kind of killed the romance a tad. Security surrounding episode was reportedly mega-tight, with only the director, a sound man and a cameraman allowed on the set as the smooching took place between the pair.
