Monty Director with Prospects

You can bet he's had a few offers from Tinsletown, but Full Monty director Peter Cattaneo's accepted Columbia's dollar. He's signed up to film T. Coraghessan Boyle's comic novel Budding Prospects, which centres on three pals scamming to get rich through a drugs deal. The only other project Cattaneo, seen at The Empire Awards of course, has signed up for is a feature-length version of his eight-year-old Oscar-nominated shortie Dear Rosie, which Sigourney Weaver is keen to star in and produce - with 20th Century Fox.
