She's been more known for her stage work than her screen appearances (that seems set to change soon), though given that Ariana DeBose played the Bullet in Hamilton, her casting in Matthew Vaughn spy thriller Argylle feels entirely appropriate.

Henry Cavill is leading the cast of Vaughn's latest, which Jason Fuchs adapted from Ellie Conway's upcoming novel. While the plot is being kept in a locked briefcase with a poison gas booby trap, we do know it'll follow the world's greatest spy (no, not that one) on a globe-trotting adventure adventure that Vaughn is looking at as a new franchise.

Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson are all in the ensemble alongside pop icon Dua Lipa, who will both appear in the initial movie and contribute music. Vaughn has the cameras cranking now in Europe, with an eye on releasing the film next year. As for DeBose, she'll next be seen in a major role in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story.
